Mixture Formation and Combustion Characteristics of Diesel Spray Injected by Micro-Hole Nozzle under Ultra-High Injection

  報告人簡歷:廣島大學機械工程系,已發(fā)表期刊論文138篇,國際/國內(nèi)會議論文114篇,出版書籍3冊,獲得多項重要國際學術獎勵;是美國汽車工程學會委員以及日本可視化學會委員。主要從事柴油、汽油噴霧混合氣形成和燃燒特性,噴霧與燃燒診斷,液體破碎與霧化,雙流體霧化及其燃燒應用等領域的研究,并取得了豐富的研究成果。

 

報告摘要:

  Currently,most experimental studies on the flue-air mixture preparation and combusition processes in direct injection(D.I.) Diesel engines are carried out using the conventional nozzle hole diameters(d>0.10mm) and normal injection pressures (P<200MPa).To provide fundamental experimental data for engine design and modeling,in this work,a micro-hole nozzle (d=0.08mm) and an ultra-high injection pressure(P=300MPa) were employed to investigate the effect of mixture preparation on auto-ignition,flame spreading,and soot formation in Diesel flames.Both the free and flat-wall-impinging sprays were investigated.The laser absorption-Scattering(LAS) technique was adopted to acquire quantitative information about evaporating Diesel sprays.The development of both the liquid and vapor phases fuel was recorded.An axisynnetric image processing method was used to acquire the data on the gas entrainment,fuel vaporization,and equivalence ratio distributions.The test ambient conditions in a quiescent constant-volume vessel were the same as those at the start of injection in the prototype engine.A high-speed video camera system was employed to record non-evaporating sprays,auto-ignition,and combustion processes.The dierct photography of OH chemiluminescence was used to provide information about the structure of the high temperature combustion process.The two-color method was used to measure the flame temperature and soot concentration distributions.The data on entranment and vaporization acquired in the evaporating sprays were correlated to auto-ignition,flame spreading,flame lift-off,and soot formation.
